Why and How?
Since opening a healing center and metaphysical supply store with my husband, my jewelry design has been inspired by the incredible beauty and diversity of natural stones and crystals, as well as their amazing array of metaphysical personalities.
At times, it feels like they are just begging me to wrap them so they can adorn the necks, wrists, fingers, or ears of all the lovely, strong people out there, to help them shine and balance their energies as well. Of course they demand only the finest materials be used – so each unique jewelry piece is lovingly wrapped in high quality precious metal wire – no cheap stuff for them! I also give you a brief introduction to their personalities by including a short description of their energetic properties.
As much as possible I hand-pick unique specimens that inspire my creative passion. They often “tell me” how they want to be wrapped in dreams or visions, or just along the way as I’m working with them. I quickly began formulating my own techniques as each work of art pushed me to grow. If you look closely, you’ll see some different examples of pounding or twisting the metals, and incorporation of small charms or other objects that I find interesting.
The creation of my highly energetic “Gemstone Infinity” Collection was a process. It came to me in a vision and I had to experiment until I got the look and energy of them to feel “right”. My goal is to let the natural elegance of the gemstones shine while being embraced by the infinity symbol. Each stone has it’s own possible healing benefits. When two stones are added to a vertical infinity like in my collection…I could feel their energies travel through the body very smoothly!
Tree of Life Collection
I feel very connected to this “Tree of Life” Collection! I love the symbolism of the family tree and how it connects us to our ancestors. Or, if you want to take it further, it connects us with all things! I recently read something about how trees “talk” to each other through an underground fungal network. They live in cooperative, interdependent relationships, maintained by communication and a collective intelligence similar to an insect colony. I like to think that we can learn a lot from these amazing beings. By wearing a “tree of life” we remind ourselves of our roots and how to communicate with our own family tree! Read about trees
